Data Science stands at the forefront of new scientific discoveries. It plays a significant role in all aspects of our daily lives. The 11th Swiss Conference on Data Science brings together researchers, developers and innovators. SDS2024 takes place on May 30-31, 2024.

Following the motto „together we move faster“, the conference fosters the community of data scientists and engineers.

With the goal of SDS2024 of enabling the exchange of novel ideas in Data Science, we invite the community to propose special thematic workshops and hands-on tutorials on Thursday, May 30, 2024.

The criteria is as follows:

• The topics should have a high relevance to important sub-fields of Data Science.
• Proposals should involve a relevant sub-community, and present tangible outcomes.
• The workshops will be organized in 3 hour blocks. Scientific workshops can also be submitted as a full-day workshop.
• A tutorial should show educational objectives.
• Workshops, on the other hand, may deal with shared dataset challenges, hackathons or competitions.
• must necessarily include hands-on activities

Proposal Format
Submit your proposals in 3 pages and include the following information:

• Workshop / Tutorial title
• Names, email addresses and affiliations of the organizers
• Workshop / Tutorial description
• Workshop / Tutorial schedule (3 hours)
• Description of the target audience
• A description of the publicity and promotion plan
• Why will the workshop attract a large number of attendees, besides the organizers?

• May 30, 2024: Workshops take place in Zurich, Switzerland
